A beautiful cabinet made by Turnidge of London. Turnidge specialised in cabinets and bars mainly and their pieces are always well made and will have been expensive when new.
It has a working lock and comes with the original key. It has two glass shelves at fixed heights, it also has detailing on the glass door that has been highlighted in gold. The feet design is typical of Art Deco styling. These have also been highlighted with Gold pigments to the centre foot along with pinstriping along the sides of the centre foot and the two outer feet.

It has been professionally painted, both inside and outside. So when opened it looks as beautiful on the inside as it does on the outside. It was cleaned, sanded, and cleaned again before painting began.
Painted in Dixie Belle silk in Anchor (dark grey) paint and finished in Polyvine satin varnish to give a subtle sheen.

The back panel has been finished with Art Deco black and gold paper.
The front beading has been finished with gold pigments and varnished.

The hinges, escutcheon have been cleaned and waxed in gold to highlight the colour.
As with all vintage or antique furniture, there may be some wear and tear but this only enhances the look.
