A beautiful example of Art Deco styling this oak bookcase/drinks cabinet is the perfect size for storing glasses and your favourite tipple.
It has two very sturdy glass shelves to ensure your bottles can be stored safely. They are the original glass shelves with a couple of very small nicks to the edges
It has been carefully and professionally painted in keeping with its Art Deco styling.
 
I chose black and gold to give a dramatic effect. It really does have the wow factor!
 
It was fully cleaned, sanded, and cleaned again before being painted in black silk paint to the main body of the cabinet. The oak beading to the front of the glass doors was finished with Gold pigments. The entire piece was then varnish three times both inside and out.
The handles were replaced with beautiful gold geometric handles to match the cabinet.
Finally, the back panel was painstakingly gilded with gold metal leaf and lacquered to ensure it doesn't tarnish. It's beautifully reflective and gives this piece the wow factor with its "glow"
